Giorgio Panto

Giorgio Panto (1 October 1941 – 26 November 2006) was an Italian Venetist entrepreneur and politician. Panto was born at Meolo, in the Province of Venice. After being a long-time supporter of the Liga Veneta–Lega Nord, in 2004 he founded a new Venetist and fiscal federalist party called North-East Project (Progetto NordEst, PNE), in which he welcomed many former Leghisti as Ettore Beggiato, Mariangelo Foggiato and Diego Cancian.
