Glarus (German: [ˈɡlaːrʊs] ( listen); French: Glaris; Italian: Glarona; Romansh: Glaruna) is the capital of the Canton of Glarus in Switzerland. Glarus municipality since 1 January 2011 incorporates the former municipalities of Ennenda, Netstal and Riedern.
