She was formerly the National Political Correspondent for CBS News. After joining CNN in 2007, she was frequently seen covering the 2008 campaign trail. She generally appears on the last half of third hour of The Situation Room as part of 'the (Emmy Award-winning) best political team on television'.
She worked previously as a political correspondent for NBC News, a special correspondent with CBS News, appeared as a panelist on CBS' Face the Nation, and was a panelist for the 2004 Democratic presidential debates. She also appears regularly on Washington Week on PBS and the Chris Matthews Show.
