Loosely based on Greek mythology, God of War III is chronologically the seventh and final chapter of the series, and forms part of a saga with vengeance as a central theme. The game focuses on protagonist Kratos, who storms Mount Olympus with initial allies, the Titans, in an attempt to kill Zeus and the Olympian Gods.
