Good Sports is an American sitcom that aired on the CBS network in 1991. The series starred Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal. Good Sports is an American sitcom that aired on the CBS network in 1991. The series starred Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal. The show featured the two main characters, a once-famous former football player gone to seed (O'Neal) and an ex-Miss America (Fawcett), as mismatched anchors on an all-sports cable network, Mr. Downtown Bobby Tannen and Ms. Gayle Roberts. Both characters were concerned with the ratings of their sports show, outwardly disliking each other but nonetheless mutually attracted.
