Govi-Altay Province

Govi-Altai (Mongolian: Говь-Алтай, Gobi-Altai) is one of the 21 aimags (provinces) of Mongolia. It is located in the west of the country. The Altai Airport (LTI/ZMAT) has one unpaved runway and is served by regular flights to Arvaikheer and Ulan Bator. The capital Altai is geographically located in the Yesönbulag sum, and not to be confused with the Altai sum in the south of the aimag. - includes Govi-Altai Aimag capital Altai city
