Gregory J. Rossmann, a Managing Director, joined Pequot Ventures in
2000 where he focuses on investments in information technology. Greg
has more than 20 years of operating and investment experience
principally in technology companies. Previously, Mr. Rossmann was a
Managing Director at Broadview International where he managed the
firm's global merger and acquisition practice in Hardware and
Communications Equipment, leading transactions with Siemens, Nokia,
Intel and other major technology firms. Prior thereto, Mr. Rossmann was
a Manager of New Business Development with Acterna Corporation and its
subsidiaries. He was also a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of
Telemaster Corporation and former product manager and development
engineer at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. specializing in signal
processing, storage and networking semiconductor devices.
Mr. Rossmann holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Santa Clara.
Mr. Rossmann currently serves on the Board of Directors of GCT Semiconductor, Hammerhead Systems, Mantaro Networks, NETGEAR (NASDAQ: NTGR), Securify, Summit Microelectronics and Touchdown Technologies.
Mr. Rossmann holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Santa Clara.
