Guy Charron

Guy Joseph Jean Charron (born January 24, 1949, in Verdun, Quebec) is a former professional ice hockey centre. He played in the NHL from 1969 - 1981. He also coached on and off from 1990 - 2003. Originally a product of the Montreal Canadiens' system, Charron played twenty games with the Canadiens before he was traded during the middle of the 1970–71 NHL season to the Detroit Red Wings in the monster deal that sent Frank Mahovlich to Montreal.
