Güyük Khan

Güyük (Cyrillic:Гүюг хаан; c. 1206–1248) was the third Great Khan of the Mongol Empire. He was the son of Ögedei Khan, grandson of Genghis Khan, and reigned from 1246 to 1248. Güyük received military training and served as an officer under Genghis and Ögedei. He married Oghul Qaimish of the Merkit clan.
