Hamburg Ballet, also known as the Hamburg State Opera Ballet, is an internationally acclaimed ballet company located in Hamburg, Germany. Since 1973 it is directed by the American dancer and choreografer John Neumeier.
In addition there is a Ballet School of The Hamburg Ballet, established in 1978. Since 1989 the Ballet School has his own building in Hamburg-Hamm.
