Hanan Ashrawi

Hanan Daoud Khalil Ashrawi (Arabic: حنان داوود خليل عشراوي ‎, born October 8, 1946) is a Palestinian legislator, activist, and scholar. She was a protégé and later colleague and close friend of Edward Said.
