When Happy End disbanded, Hosono went on to form the Yellow Magic Orchestra, while Matsumoto became a successful lyricist, and Suzuki and Ohtaki continued their careers as guitarists. In 2003, their song "Kaze Wo Atsumete" appeared on the Lost In Translation movie soundtrack.
