Harry Coover

Harry Coover (born Harold Wesley Coover, Jr. on March 6, 1919) invented cyanoacrylate glue, commonly known as Super Glue or Eastman 910. Coover was born in Newark, Delaware. He received his B.S. from Hobart College and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Cornell University. Coover invented the cyanoacrylate adhesive called "super glue" while working at Eastman Kodak in 1942.
