Héctor Benjamín Alterio Onorato (born September 21, 1929 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine theatre, film and television actor, well known both in Argentina and Spain. Alterio's theatre debut came in 1948 as the lead in Cómo suicidarse en primavera ("How to commit suicide in spring").
