When Hayley presents a video she made of her mom for her filmmaking class, the video humiliates Francine since it portrays her as a boring housewife. While Roger complains that Francine is a terrible housewife (and takes over her cleaning duties to prove it), Francine signs up with a sham organization to get a surgeon's license in twelve hours. She unsuccessfully tries to get a job with a hospital, but then gets recruited by the Handicapped Mafia, a group of physically disabled mobsters, as their physician. When Francine returns home covered in blood, but is then paged and says she has to work all night, Hayley becomes concerned and decides to follow her.
Meanwhile, Stan sees a wild neighborhood party and is dismayed... when he finds Steve at home with his friends instead of at the party....
