Henny Backus (March 21, 1911 - December 9, 2004) was a Broadway showgirl in the 1930s, where she performed with Earl Carroll's Vanities. Born Henrietta Kaye in Philadelphia, she was the wife of actor and comedian Jim Backus. Henny co-starred with her husband in the 1960s television film, "Blondie," and appeared along side her husband in the tv sitcom, Gilligan's Island, the episode was entitled, "Gilligan's Mother-In-Law", Season 2, Episode 1, 1965.
