Carla feels threatened by a new Hispanic nurse whom Janitor describes as a "young Carla" (earlier in the episode, Carla assumes Janitor is a few years older than he is. His vengeance is making Carla feel old using the "young Carla"). This eventually leads to her feeling insecure about her age and, stressing over why she is not pregnant, prompts her to get a fertility test — only to tell her doctor she is 29 rather than her true age, 36.
J.D. and Julie's relationship is progressing fine, except J.D. cannot get over Julie's personal tic of saying "That's so funny!" instead of laughing. Turk and Elliot stage an intervention to help him avoid ruining his relationship because of such a small issue, but eventually J.D. and Julie split up when he realizes her visions of their future...
