In 1968, Professor Cheung received his B.S. in Biological Sciences from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA and received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Southern California in 1974.
After finishing school, Dr. Cheung spent the next three years as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Biochemistry at USC. From 1977 to 1996, he worked as a Professor of Biochemistry and Orthopaedic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI.
