Hermann Hreiðarsson (born 11 July 1974 in Vestmannaeyjar) is an Icelandic football player. He currently plays for Portsmouth, in the English FA Premier League. Hreiðarsson is a defender, who plays primarily at left back but also plays at centre back.

Hreiðarsson came into English football in August 1997, when he moved from Icelandic champions ÍBV Vestmannaeyjar to Premier League newcomers Crystal Palace on a free transfer, and was one of the team's stand-out players as they were relegated.
