Eric and Donna are parked and Donna is telling him about how her parents fighting is getting to her. Eric cheers her up, and she tells him she loves him. Eric tries to say I love you, but instead tells her he loves cake. Hyde tells Eric that now he has to tell her he loves her so she will tell him she loves him and then everything will be back to normal. The next night, he's parked with Donna again. He says "I love you", but after a couple seconds of silence from Donna, he pops her one in the shoulder and says ". . .man" and laughs. Donna tells Jackie what happened.
