Bryce won a Golden Globe Award and earned an Academy Award nomination for his work as a producer on Steven Spielberg's World War II drama "Saving Private Ryan." In addition, the film won Best Picture honors from numerous critics organizations, including the New York, Los Angeles and Broadcast Film Critics, and was the top-grossing film of 1998. Bryce more recently produced the romantic comedy "Forces of Nature," starring Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock.
Bryce had earlier produced the blockbuster "Twister," directed by Jan De Bont, "Hard Rain," and Penelope Spheeris' big-screen version of the classic television series "The Beverly Hillbillies." Bryce also executive produced Jan De Bont's action hit "Speed," was the line producer/production manager on "Rising Sun," and was an associate producer/production manager on Tim Burton's smash hit "Batman Returns."
