Ilaiyaraaja (Tamil: இளையராஜா, pronounced [ɪləjəɹɑːdʒɑː]( listen)) (born Daniel Rajaiyya on June 2, 1943) is an Indian film composer, singer, lyricist and the first Asian composer to score a symphony for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
