The network has 94 affiliate stations in the U.S. (some of which are owned-and-operated). However, despite its wide availability, it is the least watched major English language network in the United States, behind MyNetworkTV.
The network changed its name from PAX TV to i: Independent Television on July 1, 2005, and then to Ion Television on January 29, 2007.
