Similar to the 5/6GB version, with these key differences
Using the "Database Refresh" option in the "Settings" list would occasionally result in the device freezing and could only be undone by either letting the battery run down or by removing it. This, however, would lead to the boot screen and stay there, frozen.
There was also the issue of music files randomly deleting.
These unresolvable issues may have been among the reasons why iriver has officially discontinued production of the device.
