J. D. Depree

James "J.D." DePree also known as Jim DePree (March 14, 1879 – July 1972) was the 5th head coach for the University of Tennessee Volunteers football team. He coached the 1905 and 1906 seasons. His career record was 4-11-3. While at UT he started the schools first basketball team. He also married Fannie Wilson of Knoxville who bore his three sons.
