John Leonard 'Jack' Swigert, Jr., (August 30, 1931 - December 27, 1982) was a NASA astronaut, one of only 24 people to have flown to the Moon.

He earned a master of science degree in aerospace science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut.
