"Jack versus Demongo, the Soul Collector" is the tenth episode of Samurai Jacks second season. The episode aired on September 20, 2002. Aku is tired of using weak bounty hunters, and sends one of his more efficient servants, Demongo, to defeat once and for all his arch-enemy, Jack. Demongo is tall and thin, and is shrouded in his black cloak, so he doesn't look threating, but Demongo is a very tough opponent for Jack, because his strength consists in the ability to steal the soul from his slain enemies. Once that he has his enemy's soul, he can summon it to use against a new enemy. Demongo sends his collection of souls against Jack, and he recognizes many of them almost immediately. He proceeds to defeat them one by one, transforming the souls into smoke that reenter Demongo. Since he is only defeating souls, they can be summoned repeatedly against him. This tires Jack out, and after fighting the same souls again, and again, Demongo finally summons a vast army to fight against... less
