Jacques d'Amboise (1559-1606) was a French doctor and surgeon. He was the grandson of Michel d'Amboise and the son of Jean d'Amboise, surgeon to kings Francis I of France, Henry II, Francis II, Charles IX and Henry III. Jacques was himself surgeon to Henry III, and got himself noticed when he dissected a woman before Ambroise Paré and several grand-masters of surgery aged only 20.
