The Jagiellonian University (Polish: Uniwersytet Jagielloński, often shortened to UJ; historical names: Latin: Studium Generale, Kraków Academy, The Main Crown School, Main School of Kraków, Kraków University) was established in 1364 by Casimir III the Great in Kraków.
