Kajal (Karishma Kapoor) is the daughter of Prof. Sidhant Sharma (Alok Nath). Karan (Sunny Deol) is a criminal working for Gajraj Chaudhry (Amrish Puri) who falls in love with Kajal and follows her everywhere. Initially she dislike him.
