On May 12, 2008 in Charleston County she filed for divorce after nearly 11 years of marriage, alleging Murray abused her and is addicted to sex, marijuana and alcohol. The divorce complaint also alleges Murray physically abused his wife and in November 2007 "hit her in the face and then told her she was 'lucky he didn't kill her.'" The Butler/Murray divorce was finalized by a judge on June 13, 2008.
