She has written episodes for several popular television shows of the 1990s, including The Simpsons, Everybody Loves Raymond and the later seasons of Seinfeld. She also served as a producer for the latter two, and as a story editor for The Simpsons. Crittenden also worked as a consulting producer on Arrested Development and currently is a writer and co-executive producer on the CBS series The New Adventures of Old Christine. For her work, Crittenden has earned four Emmy Award-nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series and one for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.
