Davidson averaged nearly a double-double per game in his senior year at the University of Alabama. After his junior year, Davidson tested the waters of the NBA Draft. However, he pulled his name out of the draft and decided to return to college for his senior year.
During his senior year, Davidson experienced much sorrow when his girlfriend and fellow student at Alabama Nicole Murphy died in a car accident on November 12, 2006.
