Jerry Juhl

Jerry Juhl (July 27, 1938 – September 26, 2005) was a television and movie writer best known for his work with Jim Henson's Muppets. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was originally recruited by Henson as a puppeteer and writer on Sam and Friends, but focused increasingly on writing as other puppeteers, such as Frank Oz, joined the Henson stable.
