Blair was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in the 1960s. She attended the Herbert-Berghof Acting Studio in New York City, the University of Missouri, and California State University at Northridge, receiving a BFA from The University of Southern Mississippi in 1996. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
Blair has also appeared in quite a few graduate thesis films at some of the top film schools in Los Angeles. These include, "Codename: Simon" at the American Film Institute and "Eating" and "Pretty Dead Girl" at USC film school.
