Yppah (pronounced "Yippah"), aka Joe Corrales Jr., is electronic/rock musician signed to Ninja Tune records. He currently resides in Houston, Texas.

His early teen years were spent playing guitar and bass in rock bands, his later ones as a scratch DJ who mixed Hip Hop and house in club sets, produced weird mashups (Outkast v Ted Nugent) and was part of a turntablist group called "The Truth".
Heavily influenced by shoegaze, various electronic music, psychedelic soul and rock, his music often mixes guitars shoved through massive reverbs/delays, keyboards/synthesizers, live drums, and other techniques.
His first album, titled You Are Beautiful at All Times, was released in 2006 on Ninja Tune records.
On January 8, 2009 Yppah announced that his new album "They Know What Ghost Know" is to be released on May 18, 2009, in the UK, Japan and Australia. U.S. street date is set for June 23.
