Joe Howe (born in Sidcup, England) is an English footballer. He can play anywhere across the midfield as well as at full-back. Joe started his career at Milton Keynes Dons and was handed his first professional contract in the summer of 2006 and was looking forward to making an impression on the 1st team as he had been handed the number 37 jersey prior to the season starting but the arrival of Martin Allen, who did not rate Joe meant he was given a free transfer to Gravesend & Northfleet. He left Gravesend & Northfleet at the end of the 2006/07 as he only made two substitute appearances. In August 2007, Joe went on trial with Northampton Town and impressed enough to earn a short-term contract with the club but after only a few weeks of signing the cotract Cobblers manager Stuart Gray took the decision of releasing him, saying new recruits meant Howe would struggle to make the bench.
