Joseph Michael "Joey" Kramer (born June 21, 1950, The Bronx, New York City, United States) is the American drummer for the hard rock band Aerosmith. It was Kramer who named the band in 1970. Kramer briefly attended the Thornton Donovan School. According to the band's autobiography, Walk This Way, Kramer was frequently the one collecting money owed to the group.

Kramer's son's Jesse also plays drums. He filled in for his father in 2005 at several Aerosmith shows while he was recovering from strained muscles.
Kramer's nickname with his band members is 'Krame Dog'.
He teamed up with James Montgomery and David Hull to form the blues rock, The Kramer Montgomery Blues Explosion, and performed at Martha's Vineyard for the first time in July 2008.
Kramer is estranged from his wife, April, and is currently in divorce proceedings....
