John Anderson (11 October 1921 in Salford, Lancashire – 8 August 2006) was an English football player. Anderson was a midfielder with Manchester United whose career started in 1946. He helped the club win the FA Cup in 1948 with a goal against Blackpool in the final. Manchester United won 4-2 and this was the first of Stanley Matthews' three cup final appearances for Blackpool.
