Collections manager for the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. He is currently working on breeding bird distributions across North Carolina and breeding bird communities within managed landscapes in North and South Carolina. Focal species include Swainson’s warbler and yellow-bellied sapsucker. Grants from USFWS and private industry support much of the field work. Also manages the bird collection and associated data.
