John Hamburg

John Hamburg (born May 26, 1970) is an American screenwriter and film director. Hamburg was born in New York City. Hamburg graduated from Brown University in 1992 with a degree in history. He then attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. After screening his 1996 short film Tick at the Sundance Film Festival, Hamburg wrote and directed the 1998 film Safe Men.
