John Kogan is VUDU’s Chief Financial Officer. John is responsible for
finance and accounting along with human resources, information
technology, legal, and administrative operations. John joins VUDU with
extensive experience in both large public and venture-backed growth
companies.
Prior
to VUDU, John was CFO of Encirq Corporation, where he led all finance,
accounting, legal, and administrative operations. At Encirq, John also
led venture and bank financing, managed sales contracts with Global 500
customers, oversaw creation of a wholly-owned subsidiary in Korea, and
positioned the company for future growth before leaving to join VUDU.
Prior to Encirq, John was CFO of Black Pearl, Inc., where he managed
corporate funding, led the creation and staffing of two international
subsidiaries, oversaw all finance and administrative operations, and
played a critical role in the sale of Black Pearl to a publicly traded
company. Prior to Black Pearl, John was a co-founder, CFO and COO of
Atlantes Services, Inc. Atlantes won a number of Global 500 customers
for its technology, and John was instrumental in Atlantes’ sale to one
of the 50 largest companies in the U.S. Previously, John held positions
at Cisco Systems and AlliedSignal in a variety of operations, finance
and M&A roles in the U.S. and abroad.John has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a B.A. in Economics from Connecticut College.
