Landau was born in Los Angeles to parents Martin Landau and Barbara Bain. She was a professional ballerina. Her mentor was the late actress, Susan Peretz. Juliet is a member of The Actors Studio and is currently being mentored by Mike Medavoy.
She co-starred in Tim Burton's Ed Wood as Loretta King and starred opposite Whoopi Goldberg in New Line Cinema's Theodore Rex.
