Series lead actor Anthony Anderson joined the cast of Law & Order. On May 15, 2008, the series was officially canceled. The pilot episode was written by Lisco (who also served as executive producer), directed by Deran Sarafian, and stars Anthony Anderson as Marlin Boulet and Cole Hauser as Trevor Cobb, partners who "have conflicting ideas about how to handle the city's problems."
