Kadeem Hardison (born July 24, 1965) is an American actor. He is best known for portraying college student Dwayne Wayne on the Cosby Show spin-off A Different World, which aired on NBC from 1987 to 1993.
Hardison was born in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York, the son of Bethann (née Hardison), a fashion model who owned a modeling agency, and Donald McFadden, an art collector.
