Kappa Delta (ΚΔ) was the first sorority founded at the State Female Normal School (now Longwood University), in Farmville, Virginia. Kappa Delta currently has over 200,000 alumnae, as well as 10,000 undergraduate members in 138 active collegiate chapters. Kappa Delta also has over 500 chartered alumnae associations, the most of any National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) group. Its headquarters are located in Memphis, Tennessee.
