Kate Schellenbach (born January 5 1966, in New York City, New York) was the drummer for The Beastie Boys from 1981 to 1984, and drummed for Luscious Jackson until the band broke up in spring of 2000.
Schellenbach was also the drummer for the New York all-girl punk band, the Lunachicks, during the summer of 1992.
She is currently a segment producer on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She appeared on screen on a show first aired on December 4, 2007, playing the bongos with host Ellen DeGeneres.
