A hardworking 27 year old mother of two, Kathrine's big break came unexpectedly in 1992 when she took her oldest son to an open casting call for Chazz Palminteri's movie A Bronx Tale. Kathrine seized the moment and auditioned for the film. Without having formal training as an actress, she won the starring role, playing the wife opposite Robert De Niro.
