Kauswagan is a 5th class municipality in the province of Lanao del Norte, Philippines. According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 23,087 people. The Clearing of the Narciso Ramos Highway was a battle between Philippine forces and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.
