Kendall grew up in San Diego, California. Her parents divorced when she was three years old but remained friends and Kendall spent her childhood split between them. In her Playmate Profile video, Kendall claims that she wanted to be a Playmate since she was six years old and even went so far as to dress up like a Playboy Bunny numerous times for Halloween. She started modeling at 15 years of age when she entered the Miss Mission Beach competition. She was the youngest contestant and was named "People's Choice." She returned at the age of 17 and won the title.
